I don't think immigration is out of control in this country, because the U.S federal government handles the immigration cases carefully. Although there are more than 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S today, this does not mean the immigration is out of control. Government knows everybody living between the two great oceans. As we all know American population is more than 320 million people, while the number of the illegal immigrants are only 12 million. On the other hand, let us divide the "immigrant" issue into two parties. Legal immigrants and illegal immigrants. The legal immigrants are more than illegals, so how can Zuckerman say the immigration is out of control. In my opinion Zuckrtman does not have immigration experience, and he is exaggerating the immigration issues in this country. Again in my opinion, the U.S government still controls the immigration, and monitors its borders and ports with every thing it can. The other thing I believe is that Zuckrman is a canadian immigrant, is this give him power to say what ever he thinks is wright. I would tell Zuckman, if you don't like the way our immigration system works, and believe that illegal immigrants are every where, why don't you go back to your Quebec.
I respect your point of view, but i disagree with you.
ReplyDeleteImmigration is out of control, as you indicated your blog there are 12 million illegel immigrant in this country, and many more llegal immigrant.
the issue is how well this immigrants intergrate and adjust their life comparing to those who came in the first wave.
I don't think he said there are 12 million immigrants, did he? I think he said there are 12 million total and more of those are legal. Can you clarify this Abdirashid?
